Be the Answer — On Google and in AI
Ranking on Google is no longer the whole job. Half of your customers now ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI Overview instead of scrolling results. We optimize for all of it.
In short: Brand 513 Collective provides local SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) for Southwest Ohio businesses. Services include Google Business Profile optimization, local keyword and city-page strategy, technical SEO, structured data markup, review generation and content written to be cited by AI search tools.
SEO, AEO and GEO — what the difference actually is
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the classic discipline: rank in Google's blue links and the local map pack for the terms your customers search.
AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) targets the answer box. When someone asks Google a direct question, one source gets quoted in the featured snippet or AI Overview. AEO is about structuring your content — clear questions, direct answers, proper schema — so that source is you.
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is newer and increasingly the one that matters. When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity "who does vehicle wraps near Lebanon Ohio," those models assemble an answer from sources they trust. GEO is the work of becoming one of those sources: consistent business facts everywhere online, quotable content, real citations and reviews.
Most agencies are still selling only the first one. We do all three, and we build them into every website we ship.
What local SEO work actually involves
Google Business Profile — the single highest-leverage asset for a local business, and the one most often neglected. Categories, services, hours, photos, posts, Q&A and review responses.
Local keyword strategy — mapping what people in your specific cities actually type.
Service and city pages — real, distinct pages, not one page with fifteen city names crammed in.
Technical SEO — speed, mobile, crawlability, canonicals, sitemaps, internal linking.
Citations and NAP consistency — your name, address and phone identical across every directory, because inconsistency is a direct ranking penalty.
Reviews — generating them systematically and responding to all of them.
Reporting — rankings, traffic, calls and form fills, in plain language.
Honest expectations
Local SEO is not instant. Google Business Profile work can move the needle in weeks. Ranking improvements from content and technical work typically show up in 3 to 6 months and compound from there. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is either lying or about to get your site penalized.
What we will do is show you exactly what we changed, what moved, and what we are doing next — every month, in language that does not require a marketing degree to read.

FAQ
SEO, AEO & GEO — Questions We Get Asked
Straight answers to what people actually ask us.
How long does local SEO take to work?
Google Business Profile improvements often show up within 2 to 6 weeks. Organic ranking gains from content, technical fixes and citations typically take 3 to 6 months to materialize and continue improving after that. Anyone guaranteeing page one in 30 days should be avoided.
What is AEO and do I need it?
AEO is Answer Engine Optimization — structuring your site so search engines quote you directly in featured snippets and AI Overviews rather than just linking to you. If your customers ask questions before they buy ("how much does a vehicle wrap cost," "do I need a sign permit"), you need it. That is most local service businesses.
What is GEO and how is it different from SEO?
GEO is Generative Engine Optimization — getting your business surfaced inside AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google's AI Mode. Traditional SEO optimizes for a ranked list of links. GEO optimizes for being included in a generated answer, which depends on consistent business facts across the web, quotable content structure, third-party mentions and reviews.
Do I need a new website for SEO to work?
Not always. If your existing site is reasonably fast, mobile-friendly and on a platform we can edit, we can often improve it substantially. If it is slow, not mobile-friendly or locked down, rebuilding is usually cheaper than fighting it. We will look and tell you honestly which one you are dealing with.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No, and neither should anyone else — no agency controls Google's algorithm. What we guarantee is the work: specific deliverables every month, transparent reporting on what changed, and honest conversation about what is and is not moving.
